A gorgeous portfolio? Check.
Social media presence? Check.
An active blog? Not so much.
If this sounds like you, you're not alone. The thing is, as an interior designer, your focus is on designing, not on writing. Many of my clients understand the importance of a blog, but they either don't have time to sit down to write one, or when they do sit down to write a post, they can't think of anything to say.
Why someone is interested in hiring a writer may vary slightly from person to person, there are several frequently asked questions I get about the process. If you've been wondering about any of these, I've got your answers all primed and ready to go.
1. WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
If you've got a copywriting need, I'm here to help. I primarily provide ongoing blog content, social media copy (e.g. Instagram captions), and newsletter content, but if you've got another project you're dying to try out, let's talk about those details and I can pull together a detailed proposal for you. 2. WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?
My prices completely depend on your project needs. To give you a ballpark idea, though, blogs typically range from $125-200 per post, newsletters from $100-150 per post, and social copy from $30-50 per post.
3. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Aside from increased traffic to your website, having a regular blog positions YOU as the expert in your field. Because whether you're talking about design trends you love, project updates, or design tips, you want your clients and potential clients to see you as a trustworthy source. At its core, a blog is all about establishing relationships and contributing to your overall brand. So, if you're looking to up your game in the brand sphere and let your clients know all about your expertise, then a blog is definitely a good option for you.
4. DO YOU WRITE FOR OTHER DESIGNERS?
Yes. I write for a range of designers from residential to commercial, and all with different styles and business sizes. However, every client I write for receives content that is tailored to their brand and voice. I never replicate blogs and always ensure that topics and design styles reflect YOUR aesthetic. So you can rest assured knowing that you'll have completely original content made precisely for you and your website.
